Update: Sixth, Arnold Magnetic College Grade Seventh Students Moved To Alan Primary School

Muscogee county school district officials said, a transformer problems caused a power outage Thursday fifty-first in the Arnold magnet school street.

The lack of electricity was discovered when the middle school staff arrived.

The eighth grade hallway had heat.

After lunch, students in the sixth and seventh grade, who had spent time where there was heat, were relocated to nearby Allen Elementary School.

The sixth grade students were relocated to the Allen gym while the seventh grade students went to the Allen cafeteria.

School dismissal was at the regular time, 3:52 p.m.

Buses ran the normal schedule.

Parents were given the option to come get their children before the dismissal time. The usual checkout procedures were followed.

After school activities including tonight's basketball game are canceled.

It is believed Georgia Power will have the problem corrected by the end of the school day.Source:ledger-enquirer.com
